Geese in greenpoint

Following the release of Getting Killed, Geese played a lively free show at Banker’s Anchor in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. What started as a cult following has ballooned into full-blown Geesemania, as demonstrated by the massive crowd stretching from the roof of the nearby Vital climbing gym to the north side of McCarren Park. It’s well-deserved attention, too—Getting Killed is an expansive, energetic album filled with instant hits (the hypnotic beat behind “Husbands” will stick in your head for days).
