Through a raspy warble, SG Goodman’s country-tinged ballads offer glimpses of her life growing up in blood-red rural Kentucky, and they’ll stop you in your tracks. She released Planting by the Signs in June, and we were lucky to hear her and her band play through the album at the Bowery Ballroom on 10/29.
